Shag, Marry, Push Off A Cliff: I’m on the Boner & Mirror Tarot Podcast!
I was delighted to be invited onto the Boner & Mirror Tarot podcast by my new Portsmouth-Tarot-friend Molly, creator of Bone and Mirror Tarot. (This is very exciting. Local Tarot friends are the best!) Boner & Mirror is the cheeky little sibling of Molly’s more serious Tarot work, and is built around one extremely important question: which Tarot card would you hook up with, which would you marry, and which would you push off a cliff? Obviously, this combines three of my main interests: Tarot, sex and sexuality, and pushing people off cliffs, ahem, criminology – so it was an absolute delight to take part. Molly drew some real stinkers…

Tarot Readings & Talks: The Tarot Fayre, Brighton, Saturday 18th July
I’m super excited to be speaking at this year’s Tarot Fayre in Brighton on Saturday 18th July! The Tarot Fayre is a one-day celebration of all things Tarot, bringing together readers, artists, deck creators, authors, speakers and enthusiasts for a day of talks, workshops, readings and (most importantly) lots of enthusiastic conversations about beautiful bits of card. I’ll also be offering Tarot readings during the morning, so if you’ve ever fancied sitting down with me for a reading, this is your chance, lol. One of the things I’m super hyped about is meeting some of the wonderful people whose work I’ve admired for years. I’m especially excited to finally meet…

Live Tarot Reading
I was reading at the Love Southsea Christmas Market at Portsmouth Historic Docks this past weekend, and was lucky enough to be interviewed by Lily, Jon, and Brendan at Express FM. You can listen to the interview – where I talk about my Tarot philosophy – followed by me doing a live reading for Lily here (I’m pleased to report no Tower was pulled, thank goodness ;-)). I’m on at 1:29, and then again at 1:44 (Urghhhhh, at one point I refer to the 9 of Pentacles as the Queen of Pentacles, because I’m an idiot – such an inopportune moment to make a slip of the tongue! – but…

Readings This Weekend: SomersFest, Portsmouth
Excited to post that I’ll be offering face to face readings this weekend (Saturday 27th) at SomersFest, a community festival in my home city of Portsmouth. It’s been almost a year since I last did public readings, so I’m really keen to get back into the groove 😄. If you happen to be in Portsmouth (UK), come along and find me. I’m in the World of Wellness area with some other great folks. Sadly I won’t be in my Tent of Wonders, as it’s a hard standing pitch, so it’ll just be my common or garden traders’ gazebo, alas. To prepare I’ve been re-reading Jenna Matlin‘s fabulous ‘Have Tarot, Will…

Tarot Readings: The Green Man Festival
My blog and Instagram account will probably be a bit quiet for the next couple of weeks, because I am off to the Green Man Festival in sunny (hahahahaha) Wales! We have settler’s passes, so we’ll be there for a whole 8 days (14th – 20th August), not just the 3 days of the main festival. I love reading at festivals, and last year I managed to get some practice in (though it’s hard with two demanding small people who want 24/7 mud kitchen time), thanks to this sign and, I think, the fact that our tent looks so much like a magical circus tent from days of yore. I’ve…
